Private Horseback Riding Lessons by Chrissy Rogers at Woodland Farms.  Woodland Farms provides an array of training programs that are suitable for our client's needs, as we are dedicated to finding a program that works best for each rider and horse.  We believe every rider should have a strong foundation and understanding of how to work with and handle a horse.  This is a big part of how we approach beginning riding lessons.  Lessons are approximately one hour long.  We will provide a lesson horse or pony that is suitable for the rider's needs, teaching them how to work with their horse while grooming and tacking them up before rides.  It is important our riders have a bond with their horse as well as learn responsibility through caring for them.
